The Independence Day is celebrated today in the United States. It was 1776 when Benjamin Franklin contributed to the drafting of the US Constitution.

As you maybe you already know! What you may not know is that Mr.Franklin had very specific habits about resting and followed a basic rule…

“Early To Bed, Early To Rise Makes a Man Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise”!

This is one of the most famous quote by Benjamin Franklin!

This man left his family home at age 17, he was self educated from the age of 10 and at age 22 was a successful newspaper editor.

In 84 years, apart from being a great political figure, he was the inventor of lightning rod, bifocals lens, and Franklin stove; Moreover, he was a great chess player, he composed music and played violin, harp, and guitar and he spoke correctly 5 different languages!

Maybe we should listen to his advices!

The Daily Routine of Benjamin Franklin

He used to wake up at 5 a.m., have a shower and go out for a walk, thinking about the same question every morning: “What good should I do today?”.

At work until 5 p.m, then he had dinner, he relaxed himself, and at 10 p.m. he was ready to sleep!

4 Good Reasons To Get Up Early In the Morning

Everyone loves to stay in bed until late, but certainly it’s not a very healthy habit! On the contrary you could have many benefits from a more regular rhythm rest.

1. Increase your time

Early in the morning your mind is fresh and your body rested, you can read, study, exercise, gaining a couple of hours for your activities. Of course you will be tired before in the evening and you will go to bed earlier, but the 2 hours lost in the evening are not the same thing: A research has shown that the time between 9-11 p.m. it’s the time an adult spends in useless activities, a very waste of time!

2. Improve your health

A regular sleep cycle improves the quality of your life, but not only! If you go to bed early, you will avoid many bad habits that are much more popular in the evening, such as drinking alcohol, smoking, drinking coffee and eating sugary food!

3. Improve your concentration

You will be surprised by the calm of the early morning! The ideal time to focus, read, and think without being disturbed.

4. Increase your happiness

You’ll wake up full of energy and regenerated, you’ll have more time for yourself, you’ll have breakfast with calm and maybe you’ll be able to take a walk during the cool summer mornings, these are good reason to be happier!
